Recently most of my blogging has been involved in one or another blog rings, fests, or memes. For someone like me, that often times struggles a bit for writing topics, it's been very helpful. I thought I'd start one of my own, one based around smaller blogs.
There's a lot of emphasis out there on building follower numbers. We all want to reach a few more people, but a lot of times we forget that sometimes quality is better than quantity.

This blogfest is built around the idea of slowly building numbers of loyal followers that are actually that: followers. More than just a notch in a cyber-belt, but people who will read and comment on each other's blogs.
The rules of the blogfest are simple:
Don't talk about the blogfest.Sorry, I couldn't help myself. In actuality, please let others know. Use the button, subscribe to the Mr. Linky, Facebook, Twitter, the works.- You must have 300 followers or less on your first go around.
- Post on the given topic on the given date, and give a link to the original post, so everyone can see the list of bloggers contributing.
- Follow at least one new blogger.
- Make at least three comments on other blogs.

In honor of Thanksgiving, and the beginning of a long line of colonists screwing over Native Americans, post about a time that you took advantage of someone. Or if you don't want to be that revealing about your darker side, write about a time that someone took advantage of you.
