Recently most of my blogging has been involved in one or another blog rings, fests, or memes. For someone like me, that often times struggles a bit for writing topics, it's been very helpful. I thought I'd start one of my own, one based around smaller blogs.
There's a lot of emphasis out there on building follower numbers. We all want to reach a few more people, but a lot of times we forget that sometimes quality is better than quantity.

This blogfest is built around the idea of slowly building numbers of loyal followers that are actually that: followers. More than just a notch in a cyber-belt, but people who will read and comment on each other's blogs.
The rules of the blogfest are simple:
Don't talk about the blogfest.Sorry, I couldn't help myself. In actuality, please let others know. Use the button, subscribe to the Mr. Linky, Facebook, Twitter, the works.- You must have 150 followers or less on your first go around.
- Post on the given topic on the given date, and give a link to the original post, so everyone can see the list of bloggers contributing.
- Follow at least one new blogger.
- Make at least three comments on other blogs.

Remember the days when TV shows used to have special holiday episodes? I know, it's been a long time. What's your favorite Halloween episode from a TV show?
OR
If your one of those young people that doesn't remember when TV was fun, what's your favorite scary TV show or movie?

That sounds like a great idea! And it is quality not quantity that matters. Yes, I'm boggled by how many follow me, but a large portion of those are good bloggy friends.
Hope you have big success with this!!
Yay! I'm the first one! I feel so special :)
Aww yaaay! awesome stuff :d I retweeted about this :) I'd have to go for the favourite T.V Show or horror movie since we don't celebrate Halloween in India lol
Definitely count me in. I totally have a Halloween episode in mind that I can discuss :-)
